Think Science
The book and accompanying DVD evolved from the work of the Camden Primary Science Network. The network's aims were to improve the engagement of pupils in science through activities and questions that encourage pupils to explore ideas and that would also challenge pupil's thinking.
This network was supported by the expertise of the Science Learning Centre, London.
The book takes teachers through a range of fun activities and provides a series of questions that can be used to stimulate children’s thinking. The DVD shows teachers with children doing a number of the activities. There are also suggestions for extensions. The book also provides guidance on developing a thinking classroom and suggestions for science co-ordinators to support the development of whole school approaches to science.
