Safeguarding

Children’s safeguarding single agency training (level 1 and 2) – it is the statutory responsibility of every organisation to provide this training for their own staff and volunteers. In the past many organisations have simply sent their staff on our courses instead
so they may not be aware of this. We hope to have continued to allow access for now to the most vulnerable organisations (eg small local VCS orgs). If they are unsure of their responsibilities please direct them to the CSCB https://cscb-new.co.uk/

Children’s safeguarding multi-agency training (level 3 onwards) – some organisations have been using our learning
programmes to meet this need in the past, however the CSCB provide a programme of free training and they should book there now instead. https://cscb-new.co.uk/

Adult safeguarding awareness training (level 1 and 2) – it is the statutory responsibility of every organisation to provide this training for their own staff and volunteers. However the SAPB, through the TDS, have been offering a programme of training at this level free to organisations so they are used to accessing it through us. The SAPB, through the TDS, have also offered on site training at this level. We hope to have continued to allow access for now through Camden Council’s learning offer to
the most vulnerable organisations (e.g. small local VCS orgs). If organisations are unsure of their responsibilities please direct them to the SAPB  https://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/social-care-and-health/about-social-care/protecting-a-vulnerable-adult.en?page=5

Adult safeguarding multi-agency training (level 3 onwards) – Camden Council was commissioned to deliver a
training package on behalf of the SAPB. We no longer have thic contract so we no longer provide the service. Please redirect any enquiries to  the SAPB https://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/social-care-and-health/about-social-care/protecting-a-vulnerable-adult.en?page=5
