TDS trainer information

Welcome to the Training and Development Service (TDS)

TDS places strong emphasis on developing a culture where all staff are valued. Staff are offered development opportunities to increase their confidence, skills and career progression.

TDS is committed to providing high quality training to Camden’s workforce. To this end we work with internal and external experts when developing and delivering our training programmes.

We take pride in being a diverse, inclusive Borough, where everyone is given a fair chance to succeed. We are not recruiting trainers at the moment; however, if you would like to work with us in the future, please send your expression of interest to TDStrainer@camden.gov.ukAn outline of the commissioning process is attached below, for your information, along with a copy of the contract our trainers are asked to sign. 

All TDS trainers are given access to their courses via TDSOnline. This allows them to view live information including booking numbers and delegate job roles, enabling us to work together to ensure courses are suitably pitched and structured. Please contact your commissioning support officer should you mislay your log-on details.

Trainers are contacted two weeks prior to their course to confirm final arrangements. TDS maintains a fully equipped bespoke training centre where the majority of our training takes place. Where external venues are used these will also be suitability equipped for a positive learning experience.

TDS and trainers work together to evaluate the quality, and in some cases impact, of training. On receipt of the register and evaluations payment is released. Details of Camden’s RBS payment system can be found here.
