All school staff who are interested in furthering their knowledge of `Attachment Theory’ and how to develop teaching, learning and engagement strategies for pupils to increase their learning power.
It is suitable for Inclusion Leaders, SENDCOs, teachers and support staff.
Keynote speaker Matthew Estill is a specialist senior educational psychologist in the Northamptonshire educational psychology team who has an in depth knowledge of attachment theory and recent research in the area. He will give an overview of the theory and recent findings as well outline the effect poor attachment can have on learners and their learning.
This will be followed by workshops where delegates will learn about effective strategies to support pupils with poor attachment.
