This course is mandatory for all senior members of staff and managers with building responsibilities eg :- who work in libraries, day centre, and youth centres and offices. The aims is to provide an improved understanding and awareness of premises risk which covers asbestos, fire and legionella etc. The course is designed to teach you how you can manage these areas on site.
Responsibilities under H&S legislation, risk assessment and the principles of sensible risk management, key building risks and controls, the Plan-Do-Check-Act H&S Management model, H&S nationally.
